Grand Slam Australian Open 2014 – Seeded Players Drawing

Less than 24 hours the Australian Open will soon begin. This year is very different from the previous year. Many young players now that can rival the world’s top players. WTA and ATP Tournament Results – Rafa, Serena and Ana won the 1st title in 2014

Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, Ana Ivanovic and Li Na won their first title in 2014. A good start in early 2014. Rafael Nadal could finally win his first title at the Qatar Open. During compete in Qatar, Rafa has never won here. Meanwhile, Ana Ivanovic also finally managed to beat Venus Williams for the title at the beginning of the year. While Serena Williams continued record over Victoria Azarenka.  Defeated by Serena in Brisbane 2 strongest competitor of her, they are Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka. It gave the strong indication that Serena is very dangerous at the Australian Open later. Today there are still two finals that will be carried on. In Brisbane and Chennai. Roger Federer will face the local hero, Lleyton Hewitt. Meanwhile in Chennai Stanislas Wawrinka will face Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vaselline.

WTA Tournament 2014 Results – Serena continue the record

Today is a special day at the WTA tournament . Three Tournaments which will undergo final match . Brisbane and Auckland will bring world No. 1 and 3 former world No. 1. WTA Brisbane Serena Williams will face Victoria Azarenka. While in Auckland will play 2 former world No.1, Venus Williams and Ana Ivanovic . While in China , All Chinese Final happened after Li Na and Peng Shuai managed to advance to the finals. Serena and Victoria must be the most awaited match. The last meeting in a formal match was in the U.S. Open final when Serena won it. This time they met in final before Australian Open. Like last year, they meet in Cincinnati before met in Final the U.S. Open. That time Victoria managed to beat Serena . But a week later at the U.S. Open Final Serena beat Victoria . Are these events will happen again in Australia ?

WTA Tournament Results 2014 – Williams Sisters through to SF

It Should be said that this is earlier final of the Australian Open occurred in the WTA Brisbane. Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams met in SF. While the other competitors, Victoria Azarenka meet with Jelena Jankovic in SF. It will be the benchmark for face Australian Open. Maria Sharapova and Serena probably the most match that we are waiting for. Maria suffered an injury last few months. Waiting for the action back against the world number 1. It will be a good warm-up match for maria before competing in the Australian Open. As for Serena, this game will confirm that even though she’s over 30 but she is a strong candidate to win the first grand slam in 2014.
Meanwhile in Auckland, a journey from Venus continues in SF. Today Venus will face Youngster Jamie Hampton. Both are first-time meeting. It could be a chance for Venus to win the first title in 2014.

WTA Tournament Results – Venus Journey

For WTA matches this week, the same results as in the ATP many seeded players who had to go home early. In China, Sara Errani 2nd Seeded have to lose in the second round. In the QF round from 8 spots, 6 places filled by players outside the top 50. Meanwhile in Brisbane, one more step for Maria Sharapova will play Serena Williams in SF. Today in QF, Maria managed to beat Kaia Kanepi with a rubber set. Meanwhile, Ana Ivanovic, Jamie Hampton and Venus Williams also managed to advance to the QF.

WTA Tournament Results – WTA Brisbane, WTA Auckland and WTA Shenzhen

The day before the new year, some of WTA tournaments  have completed the match. From Auckland, from 8 seeded players, only 3 players who survived to advance to the second round. 1st Seeded Roberta Vinci had to pack up early because defeated by WC from Croatia. Meanwhile in China, the comback of Vera Zvonareva have to defeated by Seeded 1, Li Na. And from the WTA Brisbane, one more  step we will witness the biggest match in the beginning of this year where Maria Sharapova against Serena Williams. If they can beat their opponents in QF they will meet in SF. And the winner of SF most likely will face Victoria Azarenka in Final. This is an important warm-up match before the Australian Open.

ATP and WTA Tournament 2014 – Results Round 1

Today is the day before the new year celebration, all tennis players have completed most of the first half in various tournaments this week. WTA Tournament has entered the second round. World’s top players like Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka will be playing today after they got bye in 1st round. Yesterday Maria Sharapova has done her first match after suffering an injury with successfully. While the Match will be more interesting for Serena will play with Andrea Petkovic in 2nd round. Andrea is promising to provide strict opposition to Serena. While Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka will play with host player, Casey and Asleigh. The Veteran Venus Williams also won her 1st round in Auckland. Hope this tournament will bring her to top her performance before Austalia Open next week.

Meanwhile in ATP Tournament, the biggest shock to begin the new season is Tomas Berdych lost to  Ivo Karlovic in 1st round Qatar Open. Still waiting for the other match to finish the first half such as Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer, Andy Murray and defending champion Richard Gasquet. Fernando Verdasco and former top 10 Gael Monfils managed to advance to the second round. In Brisbane ATP tournament, seeded players will play  their second round matches today. While yesterday, last year runner-up Grigor Dimitrov managed to advance to the second round.

ATP and WTA Tournaments 2014 – Drawing

Season 2014 has begun. ATP and WTA opener tournament has started out in the season 2014. Some of the world’s top players both ATP and WTA have stated to take part in this tournament. Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka will play in Brisbane. Meanwhile, Li Na will play in her hometown in China. And also we glad to welcome another former world top 10 player form Russia, Vera Zvonareva that take part in China tournament. Former world Number 1 Venus Williams, take part in WTA Tournament Auckland, New Zealand.

 In the ATP tournament, Top 10 Men’s tennis player such as Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer, Andy Murray, Tomas Berdych and Richard Gasquet take part in Doha, Qatar. Meanwhile Roger Federer and Gilles Simon chose to compete in Brisbane. And represents other top 10, Stanislas Wawrinka start the 2014 season playing in India.  For all players, these tournaments are just for warm up before competing in the first Grand Slam of 2014 at the Australian Open.

Venus Out – WTA China Open 2013 Results

Tahun 2013 Sabine Liscki telah berhasil mengalahkan kakak beradik Williams. Sabine mengalahkan Serena di Wimbledon dan hari ini mengalahkan Venus di China Open. Perjalanan Venus sangat mengesankan minggu kemarin di Tokyo. Berhasil melaju sampai ke babak semi final. Bahkan Venus sendiri tidak menyangka bisa melangkah sejauh itu. Untuk segi kualiatas memang tidak di sangsikan lagi kehebatan seorang Venus. Tapi bahkan Venus sendiri terkejut dengan kondisi fisiknya yang bisa bertanding setiap hari dan berhasil melaju sampai babak Semi Final. Kali ini Venus harus mengakui keunggulan dari Sabine. Mungkin secara fisik venus agak lelah, karena dari hasil hari ini Venus kalah cukup telak. Tapi secara kualitas memang Sabine seorang petenis yang sangat baik. Hari ini semua unggulan yang bertanding berhasil melaju ke babak selanjutnya

Victoria Azarenka OUT – WTA China Open Schedule and Results

Dua minggu berturut-turut Victoria Azarenka kalah di babak awal. Setelah di Tokyo minggu yang lalu di kalahkan oleh Venus Williams, kali ini di China Vika di kalahkan oleh Andrea Petkovic. Pertandingan memang berlangsung dengan 3 set tapi akhirnya Vika harus mengakui keunggulan dari petenis Jerman itu. Apa mungkin kelelahan fisik setelah kalah di final US Open atau kelelahan mental yang harus kalah dari serena di Final Grand Slam US Open. Padahal sebelum US Open, Vika berhasil mengalahkan Serena. Sementara itu Venus Williams yang berhasil melaju sampai ke babak SF di Tokyo minggu yang lalu, kali ini mendapat bye dibabak pertama China Open. Memberi keuntungan fisik bagi Venus untuk menghadapi babak ke dua yang sudah harus berhadapan dengan unggulan Sabine Lisicki. Apakah Venus bisa kembali menemukan permainan terbaiknya seperti minggu kemarin di Tokyo? Mudah-mudahan dia bisa kembali melaju sampai babak akhir kali ini.
