Final Hopman Cup 2014

Finally today will enter the final round at the Hopman Cup 2014. During the last week we are presented very great match. Finally, in the final Team Poland and Team France will compete for the title of the Hopman Cup for the first time. It will be very interesting. Because of the power balance between the two teams. In MS may be we can say that France is more favored and Poland is more favored in WS. So if the scenario is running, then the knockout phase will be determined in the Mixed Doubles. And during the Hopman Cup tournament, both Poland and France in Mixed Doubles always win the game.But in the field it could happen otherwise. Motivation of both teams to win the Hopman Cup for the first time can made the spirit to defeat their opponents. So, who will win the title for the first time? For me, I always support the French team 😀

Hopman Cup 2014 – Day 6 Results

Today is the last day preliminary group match at the Hopman Cup. Yesterday, dramatically polish eventually advanced to the final round for the first time. Bernard Tomic defeat Grzegorz Panfil and Canada won over Italy 3-0, must impose Agnieszka to win the second game. Drama happens when Sam Stosur won the first set and in the second set Agnieszka should get medical treatment for his right shoulder after suffering an injury. But eventually Agnieszka could and are willing to continue the match and eventually win the match. Furthermore, the Polish team only needs to win one set to reach the final. Even their lost in Mixed Doubles but if their could win a set then they progress to the final. But the Polish team did not waste the chance to win. Thus in group A Poland undefeated and advanced to the finals.

Hopman Cup 2014 – Day 5 Results

The match between France and the USA is very entertaining. The winner must be determined in 3rd game. In MS match Jo-Wilfried Tsonga was finally able to avenge his last defeat to John Isner in straight sets. This makes the French lead over USA. The game is very interesting because there is a lot of aces and also the quality of the game is very high. Tsonga can beat Isner finally, because his forehand is incredible. While Isner gave his power of serve that could impose Tsonga to make mistakes but Tsonga eventually could anticipate the serve of Isner can win easily in 2nd game. 

Hopman Cup 2014 – Day 4 Results

For while Australia has not successfully got a victory at the Hopman Cup. Yesterday Australia finally defeated by Italy with a score that is quite tight. Final Match finally determined in 3rd Match, Mixed Doubles. Flavia and Andreas gave a great match in Mixed Doubles that finally bring them the first victory in Hopman Cup 2014. 

For today Schedule, USA will face France. Each team has recorded one victory. With the result of this game could be one of them will be managed to advance to the final round because both teams are currently the strongest team in the group  B. It’s gonna be a great match in this new year. Both of them are my fave team.

Hopman Cup 2014 – Day 3 Result

Hopman Cup match today will only for one session as preparation for the new year. The host Australia will play against Italy. This only change Australia to get winning. But it will not easy to get the winning from Italy. Sam Stosur head to head with Flavia Pennetta are not good. She always lost in 4 previous meeting with the Italian. While in good news, Bernard Tomic head to head with Andreas Seppi always win in 3 Previous meeting including last year in the same tournament, Hopman Cup. But we will see who is ready in the court. Hope Andreas Seppi will fit to play today after the fist Match got fever.

Hopman Cup 2014 – Day 1 Result

Yesterday Hopman Cup match was held. Unfortunately, Andreas Seppi  had to resign because of a fever. Andreas Seppi was replaced by Oliver Anderson, a young Australian, to be paired with Flavia Pennetta for mixed doubles match. Poland won 3 – 0 against Italy. The next match is Australia against Canada. The Youngsters from Canada won the Match 2 – 1. Milos Raonic too strong for Bernard Tomic. And Eugenie Bouchard gave a hard fight before won against Sam Stosur in 3 set.

In Group A, match between Canada and Poland will determine one of them  to advance to the finals, because both teams were equally winning their opening match. If one of them can win in today’s game and they could cope with the next opponent, this will give them a great opportunity to advance to the finals.
