Hopman Cup 2014 – Day 1 Result

Yesterday Hopman Cup match was held. Unfortunately, Andreas Seppi  had to resign because of a fever. Andreas Seppi was replaced by Oliver Anderson, a young Australian, to be paired with Flavia Pennetta for mixed doubles match. Poland won 3 – 0 against Italy. The next match is Australia against Canada. The Youngsters from Canada won the Match 2 – 1. Milos Raonic too strong for Bernard Tomic. And Eugenie Bouchard gave a hard fight before won against Sam Stosur in 3 set.

In Group A, match between Canada and Poland will determine one of them  to advance to the finals, because both teams were equally winning their opening match. If one of them can win in today’s game and they could cope with the next opponent, this will give them a great opportunity to advance to the finals.
